Integrations overview

xClause connects to the PSA, RMM, accounting, licensing and distributor tools MSPs already use. Each integration has its own guide covering setup, the exact permissions the API account needs, what syncs, and troubleshooting.

Where integrations live

Open Settings > Integrations. Integrations are grouped into categories, such as PSA & RMM, Accounting, Licensing and Distributors. Click a tile to connect, check status, or manage a connection.

Plan requirements

  • The Settings > Integrations page is not available on the MSP Starter plan unless your account has been given integrations access. On that plan, the page sends you to billing.
  • Some integrations check your plan again when you connect:
    • ConnectWise PSA and NinjaRMM need a plan that includes PSA integrations.
    • QuickBooks, Xero and FreshBooks need a plan that includes accounting integrations.
    • The Free, Free Plan and MSP Starter plans include neither.

Each guide lists its own requirements under Before you start.

Choosing what access to grant

Each guide has a Permissions section built from the calls xClause actually makes. Use it to create an API account with only the access xClause needs:

  • Where a guide says read, xClause only reads that area.
  • Where it says read and write, xClause creates or updates records there.

Some vendors issue a token that covers everything the API account can reach. HaloPSA is one: xClause requests the all scope. In those cases, the role or security level you give the API account is what limits xClause.
